Gary Brown made a heartfelt speech to his players as the Dallas Cowboys wrapped up their season over a week ago, and in it he noted that his contract with the team was up.
So much of that obviously had to do with the fact that Brown was part of Jason Garrett’s staff in Dallas and that Garrett was facing what looked like an inevitable divorce from the Cowboys. That move became official on Sunday and not even 15 hours later there is a new man in the seat at the front of the room - Mike McCarthy.
