After a Monday morning DUI arrest for the cornerback, the Cowboys could be without Nolan Carroll for at least part of 2017 pending disciplinary action from the team or league.
After having PFF’s top-ranked secondary in 2016, the Cowboys lost Brandon Carr, Morris Claiborne, Barry Church, and J.J. Wilcox in free agency – or a combined 2,645 regular season snaps between them.
To replenish, Dallas drafted cornerbacks Chidobe Awuzie and Jourdan Lewis in the second and third rounds, respectively, of this year’s draft. The team also signed Carroll away from the Eagles.
