IRVING, Texas -- Byron Jones doesn’t much care where he plays as long as he plays.
“I didn’t think I’d be back and forth like this but I love it,” the Dallas Cowboys' first-round pick said. “It’s great. I get a chance to start in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys, so for me I’m excited to start wherever it may be honestly.”
What about linebacker?
“No, I’m not that tough,” Jones said. “Those guys are tough in there.”
Jones has started as a nickel cornerback against the New England Patriots, lined up over Rob Gronkowski.
