Brandon Weeden (concussion): I don't want to be 50 and not know my kids' names

OXNARD, Calif. – Brandon Weeden was on the field for the Cowboys’ morning walk-through on Tuesday. The backup quarterback only played 11 snaps Sunday against the 49ers after suffering a concussion early in the second quarter.

“I’m definitely making progress,” Weeden said. “It’s gotten better the last couple of days, so that’s the encouraging part. Now it’s just the boring part of waiting it out. You got to go through the whole process and by symptom-free.”

The former first-round pick said he’s had three concussions in his life. This is his first since 2013. Weeden was a little surprised he suffered the concussion after taking a shot to the back of his head.
