Freshly-drafted Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott received some high praise since he was selected by Dallas with the fourth-overall pick in the 2016 draft. Cowboy legend Emmitt Smith is high on the rookie and SportsDay's Jon Machota thinks 2,000 yards is possible for Elliott's rookie season.

Pro Football Focus' Sam Monson is similarly bullish on Elliott's potential playing behind the Cowboys' offensive line, declaring, "A healthy Ezekiel Elliott running behind this line will win Rookie of the Year -- it's almost inevitable.
