A forgotten Cowboys draft pick from 2020 could resurface at the free safety postion

As another draft comes and goes, we’re again wondering who is going to play free safety, and why that position continues to be neglected by the Cowboys front office.

For such an important position in today’s pass-heavy offensive approaches, it’s baffling to see the Cowboys ignore the position, and even make jokes about not adding a player of quality to the free safety position. With Damontae Kazee the only true free safety option on the roster, who is likely to be eased into football activities in OTA’s and training camp due to coming off a torn Achilles, the Cowboys could turn to 2020 fourth-round pick Reggie Robinson to fill the safety void yet again.
