The Dallas Cowboys managed to cut off a huge piece of dead weight that many expected would be gone in the offseason, waiving cornerback Trevon Diggs after six seasons. After his terrible play and injury problems, it seemed inevitable that the two parties would eventually be headed for a divorce.
Jerry Jones is not done cleaning up some of the less-appealing spots on this roster, as he needs to wipe a bunch of role players out of town in order to get enough financial flexibility to sign George Pickens. Any player on the fringes of the Dallas roster can't be guaranteed their spot will be there in 2026.
