The Dallas Cowboys have been a team that has traditionally favored players with position flex. This normally means offensive lineman who can play multiple positions along the O-Line or defensive lineman who can move inside out.

But there have been some extreme cases of position flex in Dallas as well. The most recent example might be when former strong safety Jeff Heath served as the team’s emergency kicker back in 2017.

According to NFL.com, Heath connected on two of his three extra-point attempts against the San Francisco 49ers when filling in for injured kicker Dan Bailey.
