The NFL Draft is just a week away, and there are plenty of Dallas Cowboys rumors floating around. The Cowboys have a few needs to address, and DE is now a major question mark with the potential suspension of Demarcus Lawrence. The Cowboys could go plenty of directions in the first and second round, which is why they've been linked to numerous players thus far. But the draft isn't the only thing going on, as Josh Norman has hit the open market. The Cowboys could be one of the teams trying to land him, although cap space will be an issue. Cowboys An Option For Josh Norman?
The Cowboys don't have much cap space, but that doesn't mean they won't at least try to land former Panthers CB Josh Norman. ESPN pegs the Cowboys as a potential landing spot, with Todd Archer saying they could create the cap space, although it would be difficult. The DallascCowboys.com writers are split, with Nick Eatman thinking the Cowboys could make a move, while David Helman doesn't see it. With Norman wanting a reported $16 million per year, it seems unlikely Dallas will land him.
What Will Cowboys Do At DE?
The Cowboys will be without Demarcus Lawrence and Randy Gregory for the first four games next year, but that doesn't mean they are guaranteed to take Ohio State DE Joey Bosa. The Cowboys love DB Jalen Ramsey, and the Chargers have put the No. 3 overall pick on the trading block to a team looking to jump up and take Ramsey. Bosa is not a lock, and the Cowboys won't alter their draft strategy because of a month suspension. But Bosa is very much in play for the Cowboys, and they'll take a DE or two at some point this year.

That means no RB Ezekiel Elliott, which makes sense given the Cowboys have Lance Dunbar, Darren McFadden and Alfred Morris.
