The Dallas Cowboys are heading into the 2019 NFL season with one of the best rosters in the NFL. The Cowboys are loaded with talent & depth at almost every position, so Cowboys Report host Tom Downey takes us through the top 15 highest-paid players on the Dallas Cowboys.
Players such as Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott & Amari Cooper are currently on team-friendly deals while awaiting contract extensions, which could be negotiated before the start of the season. Offensive linemen Tyron Smith, Zach Martin & Travis Frederick & La’el Collins are among the highest-paid players at their respective positions. However, La’el Collins will be a free agent next season & will receive a huge contract that the Cowboys might not be able to afford.
Veterans like Tyrone Crawford, Jeff Heath & Allen Hurns are on deals that make them vulnerable to being restructured or cut if they aren’t able to produce, while Jason Witten & Sean Lee are on new deals that cleared up extra cap space for the Cowboys in 2019.
