The Cowboys 2020 roster has some major battles at key positions when it comes to figuring out who makes the team. The NFL has also changed the practice squad rules, but even with the extra practice squad spots, there might be too many options (a good issue to have).

The Cowboys roster cuts are already underway. The 2020 Roster cut deadline is September 5th at 4p ET. There will be some Cowboys roster moves made after the cut deadline, but that’s when Dallas will have to make all its roster cuts. Practice squad additions will begin soon after that.
