Dak Prescott contract talk will not go away. ESPN’s Bill Barnwell recently broke down Dak as it relates to the rest of the NFL and if the Cowboys should pay him. While there is room for debate, the numbers very much favor Dak as Top 10 QB and one worth paying the market rate for a franchise quarterback. However, expect the Cowboys contract talks with Dak Prescott to continue to drag out.
Cowboys Rumors also include notes on Aldon Smith, Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb. Smith’s trainer thinks he’s going to get 10+ sacks. Is that doable given how long Smith has been away from the NFL? Bleacher Report recently called Gallup underrated and Cowboys Report host Tom Downey is totally on board with that. Meanwhile Peter King thinks the Cowboys made a mistake in drafting CeeDee Lamb. That … doesn’t make any sense.
