Cowboys Rumors: John Daly Says Darren McFadden Will Rush For 2,000 Yards

How's this for a prediction? The Dallas Cowboys lost the NFL's leading rusher in 2014, DeMarco Murray, to the Eagles in free agency. However, pro golfer and huge Cowboys fan John Daly believes the addition of oft-injured former first-round pick Darren McFadden will be a smashing hit in the Big D.

“I love them all,” Daly said when asked if he had a favorite player. “Romo is my buddy. I’m glad we signed Dez Bryant. We have the best offense line in NFL football coming up and Darren McFadden is going roll. He is going to have over 2,000 yards is my prediction.”

One of the 2015 British Open's biggest attractions thanks to his colorful personality (and fashion sense) and devil-may-care penchant for smoking on the golf course, Daly was repping the Cowboys hard while sitting on his hotel couch during Saturday's rain delay at The Open.

Those are my Cowboys jammies,” he said of his stylish Cowboys pajama bottoms. “Go Cowboys.”
