NFL Free Agency starts on March 9th, and the next few days will feature several Dallas Cowboys rumors. Although the team has limited cap space, the generate plenty of attention and will be linked to at least a few players. With that in mind, here are a few of the more interesting rumors and news tidbits on the Cowboys

Cowboys Cutting Carr?
CB Brandon Carr hasn't lived up to the large contract he signed and the Cowboys are reportedly expected to cut the corner this offseason. Cutting Carr would save the team over $6 million in cap space next season. That number can grow to over $9 million if Carr is designated as a Post-June 1st cut. The release of Carr would make the team's need for a corner even more important and the team might target

Will Adam Jones Return?
While Jones didn't do himself any favors with his playoff behavior that helped cost the Cincinnati Bengals a playoff win, he's fresh off a strong season. He'll be a free agent this offseason, and is one of the many free agents the Bengals have this offseason. When he hits the open market, many teams will be interested in his services, including the Dallas Cowboys, reports Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

Jones briefly played with the Cowboys before joining the Bengals. While Jones is 32 years old, he's playing at a higher level than Carr or the other Cowboys' CBs and would be an upgrade. He'd be cheaper than players like Janoris Jenkins too. For more Cowboys coverage, download the Chat Sports Android and iPhone app

Dallas Targeting Adrian Clayborn?
The Cowboys are in need of defensive end help this offseason. Greg Hardy likely won't be back and Randy Gregory will miss the first four games because of a suspension. While former Bills DE Mario Williams has been mentioned as a possibility for Dallas, a writer for the Dallas Cowboys' website has a different name in mind.

Clayborn isn't the pass rusher that Williams is, but he'd be much cheaper and would provide solid depth. The addition of Clayborn means the team could still target a pass rusher early in the NFL Draft.

Nick Foles Trade?
This isn't free agency related, but the Cowboys were mentioned as a possible landing spot for Nick Foles if a trade happens. Foles would likely need to take a pay cut for a trade to happen, but he'd be an upgrade at backup QB for Dallas.
