Cowboys Draft Rumors: Could Dallas Make A First Round Trade?

The Dallas Cowboys have never been scared of making a draft day trade. The front office has always been willing to make a move, both up and down. But when it comes to the first round this year, will the Cowboys stay put at No. 28 overall, move up or move down?

Bryan Broaddus, a former NFL Scout and current writer for DallasCowboys.com recently spoke with 105.3 The Fan and broke down what he thinks the Cowboys will do in round one.

"I don't think they would move up for a secondary guy," Broaddus said. "I feel like they're pretty much convinced that, if they sit there and just make their picks ... they're excited. Stephen Jones is excited about what's potentially there for them at 28. Moving up, I just don't see that. Moving back? Always a possibility."

It's a strong draft class at edge rusher, corner and safety. That fits perfect for the Cowboys, who need help at all three spots. So unless an elite player starts to slide, the Cowboys should be able to get a coveted player at No. 28.
