BREAKING: Ezekiel Elliott Withdrawing Appeal, Will Serve Full Six-Game Suspension

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is withdrawing his appeal in federal court, meaning that he will serve his full six-game domestic violence suspension, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Elliott has had his motion for an injunction denied by a three-judge panel from the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals last week, which immediately reinstated his suspension and caused him to miss Sunday's loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

That court decision essentially served as the final verdict for Elliott. He could have filed an en banc appeal and could petition the Supreme Court, but even then, it would've been highly unlikely that the decision would get overturned.

Elliott was able to play in Dallas' first eight games of the season thanks to a series of successful appeals. He will now miss games against the Eagles, Chargers, Redskins, Giants, and Raiders before returning for Dallas' Chrismas Eve game against the Seahawks.

Elliott has rushed for 783 yards and seven touchdowns on 191 carries so far this season while also catching 19 passes for 210 yards and two more scores so far this season.
