Dallas Cowboys Rumors: DeMarcus Ware, Cowboys management haven't spoken about pay cut

The interesting world of Dallas Cowboys rumors continues to add layers of intrigue, as the Dallas Cowboys and one of their biggest names on the roster seem to be shying away from an inevitable confrontation.

According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the Dallas Cowboys and defensive end DeMarcus Ware haven't broached the subject of a pay cut, or any subject regarding Ware's contract status for that matter--

The Dallas Cowboys are scheduled to pay DeMarcus Ware $52 million over the next 4 years, with the Dallas Cowboys incurring a cap hit of $16,003,750 in 2014 if they retain the services of the 4-time First-Team NFL All-Pro.

Ware appeared in just 13 games for the Dallas Cowboys last season due to a back injury. He experienced a sharp drop in production in 2013, posting his lowest sack (6) and tackle (29) totals of his 9-year NFL career.

There has been a stigma attached to DeMarcus Ware this season that the 31-year-old defensive end is on the decline, and the recent outspokenness from Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has done nothing to dispel such thoughts.

Stay tuned, as this batch of Dallas Cowboys rumors is bound to get much more interesting when the NFL free agency period begins on March 11th.
