Cowboys News: WR Dez Bryant Says Past Dallas Teams Didn't Work Hard Enough

Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver Dez Bryant didn't pull any punches when talking about why Cowboys teams in the recent past finished seasons with mediocre results.

"I'm going to give you my honest opinion," Bryant said to reporters, via ESPN.com. "The years that we did go 8-8, I think -- me, because this is just how I am -- I don't think we worked hard enough."

However, the offseason leading up to the 2014 NFL campaign was a different story, at least for Bryant.

Per NFL.com's Conor Orr, "Bryant went on to relay an anecdote from after their season-ending loss to the Eagles back in 2013 where he was apparently working out and training the next day in anticipation of 2014."

Perhaps Bryant is on to something. This Dallas Cowboys team has benefited from a revamped offensive line, but they've also given off a much different vibe and energy level over the course of the year.

Bryant seemed poised to keep the good vibes going as the season enters crunch time.
