Cowboys News: Jerry Jones says signing both Dez Bryant, DeMarco Murray isn't "financially reasonable"

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones admits that re-signing both wide receiver Dez Bryant and DeMarco Murray is going to be extremely tough, but he's not willing to concede just yet.

"It's going to be a challenge," Jones said, via ESPN.com. "Is it financially reasonable? No. Is it possible? Yes.

"But if you just looked at it from dollars and cents, it probably doesn't look reasonable. You have to figure out how you get there, but at the end of the day you realize it's going to be costly to have both of those players."

One option that Jones is not exploring is restructuring quarterback Tony Romo's contract - a deal that carries a $27 million cap hit for next season. He'd only consider such action for position that he considers essential to get over the top.

"In general, loading up on one player in an area that just requires good, solid consistency might not be the way to go," he said.
