Wilfired Zaha flops up top as Manchester United edge Palace

Crystal Palace, 2-1 losers to Manchester United on Wednesday, fell to another late defeat in an encounter they would have deserved to take a point from.

While United had quality in abundance, Palace had resolve. The refereeing performance from Craig Pawson took the shine off what was actually a very good match.

Positives

Bar the opening 10 minutes, Palace held their own and didn't concede ground or possession lightly. James McArthur did an excellent job in the centre, while for most of the game Damien Delaney made Zlatan Ibrahimovic's job a difficult one. Goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey also had a standout performance.
