Watford 0-0 Crystal Palace: Wilfried Zaha wrongly booked for diving as Roy Hodgson's side are denied a penalty but move a point closer to Premier League safety in heated draw

Crystal Palace moved a point closer to Premier League safety with a hard fought 0-0 draw at Watford on Saturday.

Tempers flared at Vicarage Road as neither side managed to find a winner, despite Eagles attacker Wilfried Zaha being denied a penalty in the second half.

Zaha was adjudged to have dived in the box after a challenge from Watford defender Adrian Mariappa but replays suggested the Crystal Palace man had in fact been fouled.
