Roy Hodgson's squad were confronted with torrential rain during Thursday's session, before the storm clouds parted making way for spring sunshine, in a bizarre turnaround in conditions.
Our club photographer and cameraman was on hand to capture the extraordinary session for the squad, which featured Wayne Hennessey and Pape Souare, who Hodgson revealed are both in contention for selection for the FA Cup quarter-final trip to Watford on Saturday lunchtime.
