Steve Parish tore into Crystal Palace players following the club's heavy loss by Sunderland as Sam Allardyce says performance 'shocked me a great deal'

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish marched into the dressing room and tore a strip off the players after they ran up the white flag against Sunderland.

Parish was furious after watching the team crumble and his mood was shared by manager Sam Allardyce, who agreed to let the owner address the team.

Allardyce ordered the squad to report to the training ground at 7am on Monday to watch the performance again and for a no-holds-barred post mortem.
