This Saturday, before Crystal Palace face West Ham United at Selhurst Park, Neil Shipperley will be making a very special appearance as the temporary landlord of Shipperley’s Bar.
Shipperley will be meeting and greeting fans from 14.00 on the Upper Holmesdale concourse at Shipperley’s Bar, serving punters and pulling pints as fans prepare to watch the Eagles clash with the Hammers.
Despite making over 100 appearances in red and blue over two stints in SE25, Shipperley is perhaps best known for his iconic goal against this week’s opponent back in 2004 as Palace beat West Ham in the play-off final to reach the Premier League for the first time in the 21st Century.
