Palace to visit Queensland, Australia, for landmark pre-season tour

Crystal Palace F.C. will play two matches in the state of Queensland, Australia, this July as part of the club’s pre-season preparations for the 2020/21 campaign, in a first trip of its kind for the Eagles. Palace will compete against Brisbane Roar and West Ham United for the inaugural EVA Air Queensland Champions Cup.

Palace's first encounter down under will see the club take on Brisbane Roar at the brand-new, 25,000 capacity Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville on Saturday, 11 July at 18:30 AEST (09:30 BST). The Queensland-based side currently stand in sixth place in the A-League, and are managed by former Liverpool and England striker Robbie Fowler.
