A free-kick from Palace's captain, Luka Milivojeviu0107, gave the Eagles hope of a late comeback. However, it wasn't meant to be for Crystal Palace with Gabriel Jesus scoring a third for City late on.
Reflecting on the game at Selhurst Park today, Milivojeviu0107 accepted that Manchester City were good value for their three points in south London:
"After my goal I think we tried to do something to score one more goal, but if you see the game over 90 minutes they were in control, they were the better team and from my point of view they deserved three points.
