The bromance between Mesut Ozil and Mathieu Flamini shows no sign of waning despite the French midfielder having left Arsenal.
The former teammates are even taking their friendship to a cringeworthy new level by making it the topic of a new Mercedes Benz advert.
Ozil, who is sponsored by Mercedes, included his best buddy in the latest of a series of commercials with the theme "What drives Mesut," where they discuss the importance of their relationship.
"He was like a big brother to me, with whom I spend a lot of time in London," Ozil says of Flamini, who left the Gunners last summer and is playing for Crystal Palace this season.
