Mauricio Pochettino warns Noni Madueke from getting carried away with his recent scoring form after it 'took him nearly six months' to realise what Chelsea needed from him

Noni Madueke has been warned to maintain the standards and 'behaviour' he is showing now to continue to thrive at Chelsea.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino took a subtle shot at the attacker when he said it took him 'six months' to figure out what is required.

Madueke arrived to great expectation from PSV Eindhoven a year ago, joining in a £28.5m deal, but it has taken time for him to crack the first team.

The 21-year-old has had a peripheral role to this point as he adapted to Pochettino's demands - but things now look to have clicked.
