Palace Ladies were left disappointed as a well-earned draw was missed out upon following a 2-1 loss away to Charlton Athletic on Sunday.
The hosts, who have earned a well deserved place near the top of the table, were widely touted as favourites to win against the Eagles, however the game was closely fought and it was only goals close to kick-off and full-time that sealed the three points for the Addicks.
However, an ever-improving Palace looked to prove their credentials and take the work rate and commitment from last week's Manchester United game into the south London derby.
