Ilkay Gundogan admitted Manchester City have no room for error with Liverpool breathing down their necks in the title race.
Jurgen Klopp's side face Brighton on Saturday afternoon and could be within three points by the time City travel to Crystal Palace on Monday night.
City have dropped just four points from their last 18 Premier League matches yet have not pulled away from Liverpool and Gundogan is already glancing at the pair's meeting at the Etihad Stadium next month.
'There is no potential to do mistakes for both sides and then you have the showdown at the Eithad in a few weeks,' Gundogan said.
