Ian Wright has admitted he went into a 'dark place' at Crystal Palace after opening up about being bullied at the start of his professional career.

The Eagles legend joined the south London side in 1985 from non-League before leaving for Arsenal six years later after 90 goals from 225 league appearances.

But life at Selhurst Park started off miserably for Wright, who at the age of 21 claims he was bullied by another former Palace legend in Jim Cannon.
