Roy Hodgson revealed in the week that Christian Benteke is more than likely to miss today's game against Cardiff City, and unfortunately for the striker that has been the case. Alongside the Belgium international dropping out for Michy Batshuayi, the Palace manager has made three other changes from the side that drew 0-0 with Everton.
Joel Ward comes in for Patrick van Aanholt at left-back, with Andros Townsend and Jordan Ayew making starts in place of Cheikhou Kouyaté and Max Meyer.
Another addition to the matchday 18 is Connor Wickham coming into the squad for the absent Benteke.
