Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi and midfielder Adam Wharton both missed the team's FA Cup celebration party after being taken to hospital.
England centre-back Guehi was substituted in the second half of his side's 1-0 victory over Manchester City at Wembley after taking a blow to the eye as Palace secured their first major trophy.
The 24-year-old was still able to lead his team up the Wembley steps to lift the trophy after the final whistle and celebrate with his team-mates on the pitch.
However, Guehi was then taken to hospital in an ambulance after the game amid concerns he had suffered a fractured eye socket while the defender also complained of slight loss of sight.
