Former Player Roger Hoy Passes Away Aged 71

The club is sad to announce that former Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur player Roger Hoy passed away on Friday 9th November aged 71-years-old with friends and family close to him.

Roger signed for the club from Tottenham Hotspur at the start of October 1968 to be part of the team that manager Bert Head was building to gain promotion to Division One for the first time in the club's history.

A defender or defensive midfielder, Roger filled a number of roles and was in the side that gained promotion with victory over Fulham in April 1969.
