Everton striker Oumar Niasse charged by FA for diving against Crystal Palace

Everton striker Oumar Niasse has been charged by the Football Association for diving in Saturday's Premier League clash against Crystal Palace.

The Senegalese forward went down in the box and won a first-half penalty for the Toffees, with Leighton Baines stepping up to score from the spot. The game finished 2-2.

Niasse was judged by referee Anthony Taylor to have been brought down in the area by Eagles captain Scott Dann, but there were claims that he conned the referee.

And the FA have now announced they have retrospectively charged the Everton man with 'successful deception of a match official'.
