England turn to DANNY WELBECK with Brighton striker 'named on Gareth Southgate's 55-man World Cup long-list', after a four-year exile... with Lewis Dunk, Eberechi Eze and James Maddison also in

Danny Welbeck's England exile is over with the Brighton striker reportedly one of 55 names included in Gareth Southgate's provisional World Cup party.

According to The Athletic, the Brighton and Hove Albion striker was named in the long list Gareth Southgate had to submit to FIFA.

Welbeck has been capped 42 times by his country, but hasn't featured for the Three Lions since a 1-0 friendly win over Switzerland on September 11, 2018 at the King Power Stadium.
