Crystal Palace Under-23s midfielder David Boateng reflected on yesterday's 4-1 victory over Colchester United, his side having been level at 1-1 starting the second-half.
Playing out-of-position in a makeshift defence, Boateng was pleased the Eagles kept a solid back-line but suggested they must start their next game against league-leaders Ipswich Town stronger.
"We did well today, we dug in," he said. "We didn't start well but we ended up winning 4-1. Next week we need to do better, or we're going to get punished early.
"If we start like that next week, we're going to get punished because Ipswich are a very good side.
