Crystal Palace's redevelopment of their Selhurst Park stadium is being held up — by Sainsbury's.
Plans are in place to extend the main stand and increase the stadium's capacity from 26,000 to around 32,000.
Palace have explored the possibility of locating a brand new site and building a stadium, but believe the process could take a decade and that working on their current site will be quicker.
They have looked at how Liverpool have developed Anfield's main stand to increase the stadium's capacity by 8,500.
