West Brom star Nathan Ferguson’s proposed £10m move to Crystal Palace is in the balance.
The two clubs agreed a fee for the 19 year-old earlier this week giving him the green light to move to Selhurst Park.
But Sportsmail understands a fitness-related issue was picked up his medical and the two clubs are now back in talks to work how to proceed with the deal.
Palace had lined up England under-20 right-back Ferguson as their replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka who joined Manchester United for £50m last summer.
