The Football Association has charged Crystal Palace with misconduct after a controversial banner depicting Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis holding a gun next to Morgan Gibbs-White was held up by fans.
The banner, which was erected during Crystal Palace's 1-1 draw with Forest at Selhurst Park in August, read: 'Mr Marinakis is not involved in blackmail, match-fixing, drug trafficking or corruption.'
Palace have been charged with failing to ensure that supporters did not behave improperly, offensively, abusively or provocatively.
An FA statement published on Wednesday read: 'Crystal Palace FC has been charged with misconduct in relation to its Premier League fixture against Nottingham Forest FC on Sunday, August 24.
