Casemiro could not hold back the tears after being sent off for a challenge on midfielder Carlos Alcaraz during Manchester United's match against Southampton at Old Trafford.
The Brazilian appeared to lunge for a loose ball with his studs up, catching the opposition man on the front of his shin.
Referee Anthony Taylor reached to his pocket and awarded him a yellow card, but was advised to review the tackle on the pitchside monitor, and subsequently changed his decision as he gave Casemiro his marching orders.
As he was shown the red card, Casemiro bowed his head and had to be consoled by his teammates, including fellow countryman Antony.
