BREAKING: Rangers sign Crystal Palace goalkeeper Jack Butland on a four-year deal as his six-month loan with Manchester United comes to a close

Crystal Palace goalkeeper Jack Butland has signed for Scottish Premiership side Rangers in a four-year deal.

The shot-stopper was on loan at Manchester United for the latter-half of the 2022-23 campaign but failed to make a single appearance for the Red Devils.

Manager Michael Beale had been eyeing a new No 1 as the side begins its preparations to dislodge Premiership winners Celtic at the top of the table next season.

The 30-year-old has been light on playing time in the most recent stage of his Premier League career, featuring just 10 times for the Eagles since his move to Selhurst Park in 2020.
