Crystal Palace forward Christian Benteke played in his first game for the Eagles since sustaining a knee injury in September against Southampton as the south London side lost 2-1 at home to Watford.
The Belgian forward had to watch much of the game from the bench, but voiced his disappointment with the loss, saying, "I think we controlled the first-half well, especially when we scored first at a good time. In the second half, I would say we started well but I thought we were maybe too confident and we gave them some space. You could see they were waiting for our mistake, it [the first goal] was our mistake.
