Arsenal News: Gunners eye Brazil star Everton as alternative to Wilfried Zaha

Arsenal are weighing up a move for Brazil star Everton after failing to land their top target Wilfried Zaha.

Everton, who plays for Gremio, starred for his country in the Copa America and scored in the final win over Peru.

He would not cost as much as the £80million Crystal Palace demanded for Zaha and The Mirror report that Unai Emery has turned his attention to the Brazilian.

'I don't think Arsenal have actually made a bid that has come anywhere near our valuation,' said Eagles manager Roy Hodgson on Tuesday.
