Arne Slot thanked fans for giving Trent Alexander-Arnold a beautiful send-off on the day Liverpool finally got their hands on the Premier League trophy.
The champions drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace and kick-started a party that will continue into Bank Holiday Monday with the trophy parade through the streets of Liverpool.
And Slot said: ‘It went brilliant when our fans are together.
‘I don’t think you see many celebrations like we had them today. It’s no surprise to me that the fans were brilliant again today as they were throughout the whole season, as they were towards Trent.
