Anthony Martial was not involved in Manchester United's match day squad to face Crystal Palace after the French striker suffered a 'setback' in his return from injury.
Erik ten Hag confirmed that United's star forward would be absent after having yet another complication after Wednesday's 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
Martial was on the scoresheet for his side in the Carabao Cup semi-final win, having only then returned to the side for the first time since the Manchester Derby earlier in January.
Jadon Sancho also made a long-awaited comeback, having been absent since October after Ten Hag deemed him mentally and physically unfit to play for the first team.
