PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. -- Charlie Zielinski climbed into a tie for second place and the Creighton men's golf team remains in fourth place after 36 holes at the BIG EAST Championship Presented by JEEP.
Zielinski led CU for the second straight day when he fired a 1-under 71, which included three birdies in the sophomore's first seven holes of the day. It was the Omaha native's 12th round of par or better this season, tying for the team lead, which includes eight of his 14 loops this spring. He now owns nine straight rounds of 74 or better and has shot 79 or better in all 47 rounds of his Bluejay career.
