OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton women's tennis team returned to action after two weeks off with a 6-1 win over visiting Oral Roberts on Friday, March 25, at Hanscom Indoor Tennis Center.
The Bluejays improve to 8-3 with their fourth straight win while Oral Roberts dropped to 8-7 and had a five-match win streak snapped.
Creighton won the doubles point with a pair of victories. Meredith Benson and Gabby O'Connor earned a 6-3 victory at No. 3 doubles. Minutes later, Valerie Negin and Malvika Shukla clinched the doubles point with an identical 6-3 triumph at No.
