MILWAUKEE, Wis -- The Creighton women's tennis team fell to Marquette, 6-1, on Saturday afternoon at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium.
The Bluejays moved their season record to 4-5.
and combined for a 7-5 win at the top doubles position. Marquette took the doubles point with wins at the other two positions.
posted the Bluejays' lone victory during singles play. The junior posted a straight-sets win at the No. 4 position and moved into a tie for the team-lead with five singles victories this season.
The Golden Eagles won in straight-sets at four of the other five positions.
