OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton women's tennis team earned a 4-3 victory against Villanova on Friday afternoon at the Hanscom Tennis Center during the final weekend of the regular season.
The Bluejays improved to 8-11 this spring, including 2-3 against BIG EAST competition, while the Wildcats fell to 10-9 overall and 3-3 in matches against league foes.
three-set win at the No. 4 singles position clinched the match. The sophomore won the first set 6-4 but fell 6-2 in the second frame. In the deciding set, Epperson earned a 6-3 victory for the Bluejays' fourth singles victory.
